Provectus has been appointed to deliver the segregation, classification, and compliant disposal of legacy waste at the former Kiveton Industrial Park. The project involves the onsite processing of mixed materials using a combination of mechanical screening, handpicking, and real-time environmental assessment.
Completed Projects
Provectus was appointed to support the redevelopment of a 0.75-hectare site near Wokingham into new residential dwellings with gardens, roads, and landscaping.
Following the demolition of former buildings, asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) were identified within the made ground. In order to discharge Planning Conditions 25 and 26, our team carried out targeted excavation, segregation, and disposal of contaminated soils, followed by verification testing to confirm compliance.
All works were completed safely, on programme, and to the satisfaction of the planning authority ensuring the site was ready for its transformation into a safe and welcoming residential community.
Provectus supported Berkeley Homes in transforming a former gasworks and railway sidings into a safe platform for redevelopment. Works included remediation of hydrocarbon, asbestos, and metal contamination; UXO clearance; and excavation and re-engineering of over 56,000 m³ of soils. We installed 21,000 m² of piling mats, managed complex interactions with Network Rail and London Underground assets, and delivered temporary works designs to the highest safety standards — enabling construction to progress on programme.
Provectus delivered a cost-effective, low-carbon remediation strategy to remove a historic landfill that was directly obstructing the construction of a major new rail link. Working in close collaboration with the Environment Agency, we deployed a fully permitted mobile treatment plant to process over 36,000 m³ of excavated material on-site.
Through a combination of mechanical separation, moisture control, and targeted lime dosing, we achieved recovery rates of up to 66%, returning treated soils to the site as compliant Class 1a engineered fill. This significantly reduced the volume of waste sent to landfill, cutting transport requirements and associated carbon emissions.
Provectus delivered remediation and enabling works for the redevelopment of a former chemical site into Eastbrook Studios. Works included a Remediation Implementation Plan, MMP, excavation and management of 30,000 m³ of soils, obstruction removal, pile proving, and construction of phased pile platforms. A bespoke digital waste tracking app provided full transparency, ensuring safe and sustainable delivery for this landmark project.
