Remediation Project Manager

Provectus are seeking to appoint a remediation project manager to join our dynamic team, lead projects and provide technical support across the company.

Provectus Remediation serves a diverse array of public and private sector clients throughout the UK.  This role is primarily based in the southern region, supporting sites in and around London and the southwest, however location is no barrier at Provectus. The role offers the opportunity to work remotely managing your time between home, site or our office bases as required.  

You will plan, deliver, and manage remediation schemes which can include aspects of demolition and enabling works as part of an industry leading team.  You will have the opportunity to use your technical skills, as you respond to Client’s problems taking pride in the solutions that you deliver on site.  You will thrive in a collaborative and supportive culture, delivering exciting projects and reaping the collective rewards of being part of the Provectus team.

Design and manage projects from initial enquiry through to implementation and completion.

To manage and deliver multiple projects concurrently, on time and within budget with an understanding of financial management at a project level.

Be competent in the procurement and management of subcontractors.

Produce a wide range of technical geo-environmental reports to provide solutions to the client’s business needs.

Production and agreement of detailed Remediation Strategies, Materials Management Plans, Environmental Permitting applications with appropriate regulators

Work with bid team / act as proposal coordinator to assess cost and scope of works during bid process;

Develop new and enhance existing, internal, and external client relationships. Work towards lasting relationships with key Clients.

Contribute to the company culture, conduct and discipline to encourage an enjoyable, productive and supportive workplace for all.

Degree level qualified in an appropriate discipline Earth or Environmental Sciences, or a related field, ideally with a relevant MSc.

5+ years’ experience in contaminated land remediation and or geo-environmental consultancy, particularly in the construction environment.

Proven ability to produce high-standard written reports and present technical information clearly.

Excellent communication and presentation skills including clients and regulators.

Attention to detail and self-management skills.

Willingness to travel and a full UK/EC driving licence

Cost forecasting and project Programming

Membership in a relevant Professional Institute is preferred and working toward or having attained chartership.

Knowledge in the preparation of specifications and industry standard forms of contract ICC/NEC/JCT)

Provectus are seeking to appoint a remediation project manager to join our dynamic team, lead projects and provide technical support across the company.

Provectus Remediation works with a wide range of public and private sector clients across the UK, delivering complex remediation, earthworks, and enabling works schemes.

We are currently seeking experienced Site Managers to oversee delivery on active sites - with current opportunities axcross the country, we welcome candidates based across the UK.

Our flexible working model allows you to balance time between site, home, and regional office hubs, depending on project needs.

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of projects, leading site teams and managing subcontractors on technically challenging brownfield & enabling works schemes. You’ll be the key on-the-ground lead, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and environmental compliance - and taking pride in delivering successful outcomes for our clients.

You’ll be part of an industry-leading team, working in a supportive and collaborative culture where your input is valued and your development is supported.

Lead the day-to-day site management of remediation, enabling, and associated works.

Plan and manage projects from pre-start through to completion, ensuring programme, cost, and quality targets are achieved.

Manage subcontractors and suppliers on site, including coordination, supervision, and quality assurance.

Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Liaise with internal teams and clients to report on progress, resolve issues, and maintain strong working relationships.

Support the production of site documentation including RAMS, site diaries, progress reports, permits and compliance paperwork.

Collaborate with the Technical and Commercial teams to ensure smooth delivery.

Input into tendering, method statements, and resourcing plans where required.

Promote the Provectus culture and values on site – safe, respectful, proactive, and solutions-led.

5+ years’ experience in a remediation, groundworks, or civil engineering site management role.

Strong understanding of contaminated land, materials management, and enabling works.

Confident managing HSEQ requirements, subcontractors, and delivery teams.

Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to lead by example.

Competent in cost control, site reporting, and programme management.

Comfortable working with project teams to review technical reports, drawings, and specifications.

Knowledge of NEC, JCT or ICC contracts is desirable.

SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS card (black/gold) preferred.

Full UK driving licence required.
