Our History
Provectus was built to do things differently.
Formed in 2002, we recognised early on a gap between consultancy and contracting where good strategy didn’t always translate into practical delivery on site. Toooften, projects were slowed down by fragmented teams, unclear ownership, and solutions that looked good on paper but didn’t work in reality.
We set out to change that.
Starting as a specialist remediation contractor, Provectus grew by staying close to the detail understanding the ground, the risks, and the real constraints our clients face. We built our reputation by delivering complex brownfield and enabling works safely, compliantly, and without unnecessary cost or programme impact.
As our clients’ needs evolved, so did we.
We expanded into soils management, waste brokerage, and UKAS-accredited testing through Envirosafe, creating a more integrated offer that brings together strategy, data, and delivery under one roof. This allows us to make faster decisions, reduce risk, and unlock value that traditional models often miss.
Employee-owned
In 2023, Provectus became an employee-owned business. This marked an important step in our journey strengthening our long-term commitment to our people, our clients, and the quality of what we deliver. It means everyone in the business has a stake in doing things the right way.
