Works will be completed to a rapid programme to fit in with first student occupations in September 2018. Galliford Try will begin the main construction works in September this year. Our works include remediation design, two main 750mm sewer diversions, enabling works, 350m of site hoarding, asbestos management & demolition of over 160,000 sqft of former offices and factory space. Remediation will entail treatment of solvents in the soil and groundwater including all materials management and reprofiling of the site to formation level. We will be recycling over 4,000 m3 of aggregate for the construction of piling mats to ensure swift mobilisation of main contractor works.

On completion of works a case study will follow.
