Provectus welcomes Jon Owens - Regional Manager and James O'Hara - Project Engineer.

Jon Owens

Jon has 18 years experience in the specialist remediation and waste industry at both project management and director level positions. Jon was instrumental in establishing a successful UK business for a North American remediation specialist over the last 14 years and has recently joined Provectus to lead the opening of a regional office to the West of London.

Jon has led the successful implementation of many on-site soil treatment projects on both large and small projects where excellence in execution, cost and programme were the key criteria for success. Jon’s major project experience includes schemes such as Channel Tunnel Rail Link, several Regional Development Schemes as well as many specialist remediation projects for main contractors and development clients.

Jon was also on the hazardous waste working group in the Environmental Services Association (ESA) in his previous role where the management of hazardous soils were key to the business sector he was leading. Jon has used this experience to support construction clients in managing surplus soils from a large number of inner city basement excavation projects where works require completion to a best value cost whilst being completely aligned to current waste management regulations and best practice.

We welcome Jon and wish him a long partnership with Provectus.

James O’Hara

James has 17 years experience in groundworks and specialist remediation contracting in the UK and overseas. James has been involved in numerous ex-situ and in-situ specialist remediation projects at operative and management level. In his career James has successfully completed the on-site treatment of hundreds of thousands of tonnes of contaminated soil for reuse.

With a background in construction, James has also used his specialist remediation knowledge implementing enabling works on contaminated site where materials management and groundwater control were the main risks to cost control. This has allowed a number of construction companies achieve early possession of contaminated sites for piling whilst benefiting from significant costs savings from optimal materials management and water treatment.

We welcome James and wish him a long partnership with Provectus.
